As a locally owned and run Makit hardware store, we offer service to Albany and the surrounding districts and have for the past 25 years.

We are passionate about the items we sell and are here to help. Our range covers most industries, stocking both quality and specialised tools that sets us apart from the rest. We stock a large range of hand and power tools, general hardware, engineering equipment, bolts, rivets, screws, rope, nails, chain, automotive gear, welding and much more. We also offer a key cutting service.

If we don’t have it, we will make every attempt to ‘get it’ for you. We believe in customer service and pride ourselves on ensuring that you, our customers get the satisfaction, advice and service that you expect when you come in our door. There are many monthly specials from Makit, Tradesmart and other suppliers.
